Swim Creative, a branding, interactive and advertising firm, today announced a recent addition of graphic designer Ann Brennan to its team.
Brennan has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota Duluth and an aesthetic born from a background of growing up all around the United States as the middle child of six girls. All of this prepared her well for her new career at Swim.
Growing up, her choice of mediums were watercolor, illustration and basically anything she could get her hands on.
“I find inspiration from the world around me, especially from the outdoors,” said Brennan. “The colors and textures of nature never fail to awe me, but it’s really the people around me where I find the most inspiration.”
Brennan fell in love with graphic design in college, finding it a perfect way to match her artistic passions to the professional world.
All of which led her to Swim.
Swim Creative’s commitment to creating outstanding work attracted Brennan to apply and she’s come to appreciate both the supportive culture and collaboration on every project.
“One of our designers attended the UMD graphic design department’s portfolio review and was impressed by Ann’s work,” said Patrice Bradley, Swim’s CEO and Creative Director. “He encouraged us to talk with her and, of course, we felt right away that she was exactly the kind of designer that would continue to make our work stand out.”
Brennan said she is excited to create compelling and impactful work while using her artistic talents every day at her new home at Swim Creative.
