Former Bulldogs defenseman Scott Perunovich was plus-two in his first career National Hockey League preseason game for the St. Louis on Saturday, as the Blues powered past the Minnesota Wild 6-2 at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

Perunovich, 23, skated a regular shift and amassed 20:18 of ice time — second-highest among Blues defensemen — including a team-high 1:17 on the power-play.

Elite sophomore forward Max Plante of Hermantown has scored seven points, including two goals, in nine games for Kowalski’s in the Upper Midwest High School Elite League this fall.

Plante scored two goals and three assists in three games over the weekend at beautiful Mars Lakeview Area in Duluth.

Hawks junior defenseman Ty Hanson, a prized Bulldogs recruit, has a team-high nine points in 10 games for Kowalski’s.
