Bulldogs-Gophers series this weekend

The Bulldogs begin a college men’s hockey home-and-home series against traditional rival Minnesota at 7 p.m. today at 3M Arena at Mariucci in Minneapolis. Game two of the nonconference series is scheduled for Saturday at 7:07 p.m. at Amsoil Arena in Duluth.

The Gophers are led by fifth-year senior goaltener Jack LaFontaine, a 2020-21 Mike Richter Award winner and Hobey Baker Award finalist.
