Broncos goaltender records 112 saves in IRC game

International Falls freshman goaltender Mara Pelland had 112 saves in a 13-0 home loss to Hibbing-Chisholm in an Iron Range Conference high school game Tuesday night. She faced 35 shots in the first period, 40 in the second and 50 in the third for the 0-10-0 Broncos.

Pelland is averaging 53.9 saves per game for the 0-10-0 Broncos, who will play host to Prairie Centre (2-11-0) at 2 p.m. today at Bronco Arena.
